well now i am not so tired i can finally give a long grandma story about invest. and hopefully some reflections.

so invest prep started all the way in december where everything was still scratch and well i was just lost. so things got clearer, more brain storming was done for guestbook after the failing attempts of so many proposal, amusing convos on msn that lead us to talk about et haha fingers touching guest book and well in the end we had more constructive ideas and did proposal and then chewfei vetts sends back to me make changes and then finally i sumit and she says it is all correct. it was like a 10 min thing back to her and then to me. quite fast pace and will it was a good challenge. thought me to focus, type faster.

so reception table which was what i was in charge of took me to go quite often to use the go phone and talk to om tan, make calls to om tan with the help from the office lady and also to uncle jacks little hideout near the audi and pulling tables out from underneath the staircase, walking around with my court shoes and taking rather light tables around the front of the audi, being called uncle jacks daughter inlaw by other uncles. so it goes like this. on thurs i went to find uncle jack. one day before invest during recess and then he tells me to not make the tables dirty then he sends me away, i go talk to jing ying, help her fastent the ribbons, he comes and calls me, brings me to get the tables, drag them out with this makeshift cart and then place them properly and drag the cart back. bell rings, rush back to class. rehersal, constantly forgets to close legs, hernhern tells me from behind, closes legs,walk back and well got it right and my first rehersal. dailaoshi taught me how to walk in my shoes properly, maybe i should stuff tissue in my shoe next time make it tighter so i don't drag my feet. went to coro without my nametag i thought i lost it in the end i found it in class, couldn't open the lock doors. went to coro, met ros said hello went to alteration shop to ask uncle if he sold press studs he said yes then i pass him 10 without asking him how much and then he was like come before then i said yes. i had this pants that was too long it got so dirty my mum couldn't stand she took to alter at his shop then i collected that day and then he said your mum pay for that one already. the buttons give you free! so i got it free thanks man. went to send pss design for printing with the super hostile uncle no choice have to go to him then i go collect things go ntuc buy hair spary and then go chem. and when i got home, i got my formal skirt altered by mama! she said so long very ugly that's why i help you alter. asks yenjin if its ok and then next day mrswong tells me its abit short but i can't do anything to it already.

friday 22 feb.

in the morning tables were ok then during lunch, mdm lee says she is afraid of a bottle neck situation and thus she told us to rearrange the tables. rush my lunch down, run to the audi using the front of my court shoes, realise there is no one,run into audi tell mrs wong whats happening, closes the door and falls down right infront of mrswong. have her tell me to be careful, runs out lift the tables up and then mpre people come shift the tables out and then we don't get such a bottle neck situation instead we get a semi-circle. so that's all for reception tables. uncle jack tells me to keep them. i run back after photo taking and then the tables are already there where uncle jack wants them to be so i just go change fill my bottle with fruit punch and them go bound in my hongzi. my last day to wear my hongzi to school. i found my elect name tag! it was left in class. so i do the school tour before that and look at previous post for more details.

more about photo taking. i was standing around and then hanjing brought her camera out and then we had 2 photos taken and it was quite funny cos kelly and me climbed up and we sat on the table while the rest sat on the chair. then the seniors took their photos, stood around again and then chew fei said i look like yenjin haha. and then yen jin was like i tell you har wo zhen shi bei ni qi si le. never close your legs infront of ms yap! sorry sorry yenjin i will remember to close my legs next time. i look like yenjin the eyes and the mouth according to chewfei and then she said actually they look alike but the best similarity about them is that they are both crazy! what a good compliment from chwfei. but i must say all the swc seniors are really nice and i have never blogged about them. hanjing for helping me with the exclamation mark ang i saw grace leong at busy bee yesterday and chewfei and yenjin for just always being there and karen for all the strictness that makes me worry about whether i am a good example for people. yes it is a good thing!

so invest is a journey and not just the moment to embrace the stage when the light shines on you. it is a tiring journey, a fun journey and a fufilling one. its over i am glad but i do look forward to these kind of things again. it pulls the whole council together and not just the comitees. its and interesting combination and well i enjoy the drilling of hole and seeing mr lim cut the wood. to receive all the help from mrlim for council board also sums up my invest journey as i had to complete it before invest. the whole board falling off leading to such a racket for the whole council, having to redo the things, buy more material and then paint to salvage the black side that yenjin nicely helped me tear off the golden words making the black side hairy, staying back in school till 8.30 with mr lim to finish the pss design and the exclamation mark he told me to redo for counicl board. wenqi helped. my best buddy! haha we shall always remain best buddies! yenjin and her supervision jenyi and her promotion of council board by takng up alot of space on the corridors, mrs elaine ng calling us(me and jenyi) art students! hahahahahah ya. and having heard people read pass!on as PASS! ON. HAHA SO FUNNY. other things that happens within people as a council shall be kept within.

pss has moulded me to be better friends with xinyun so i hope we will have a good partnership. for now one little advice to you xin yun. get a close friend someone who you can pour your heart out to.
